Cole's 3rd Birthday Party

My baby has been 3 for a month now. Yes, he is still my baby. In fact, he knows it too. He states "I mama's baby. I Daddy's Little Man."

The child is OBSESSED with Cars. You know, Cars the Movie with Lightening McQueen and Mater!

The outfit he is in is his favorite outfit, green shorts and a blue shirt that has every Cars character on it!

I would love to create a birthday like this. However, I have  boys. Boys don't care what type of topper is on their cupcake. Time is also something that I don't have. Roger was set to leave to go to Ruth's Chris training 2 days after the party- so family time was of the essence as well. So this party was done under the KISS Method. Keep it Simple, Stupid.

The menu consisted of

Hot Dogs

Pasta Salad

Chips 

Fruit Salad

Cars Juicy Juice juice boxes (I loaded up on these before the stores stopped carrying them!)

Water

See. Simple. Oh yeah, Cake we had cake too of course!! My Grampie actually started a tradition with me that we have carried on. He always let us dig our fingers into our cake before it was cut! Cole LOVED doing this and had an entire corner all to himself!

We created a Kiddie Car Wash that we saw on Pinterest!

The highlight though was the Kona Ice Truck!! Just like his daddy, Cole is obsessed with cold treats. For a small fee, the Truck came (music and all!!) and every guest got a Shaved Ice. This was fabulous because everyone thought they were going to have to pay but we had already taken care of it! Everyone was so excited to see this truck!!

It was definitely a fabulous day!!
